Emergency Relief for Families in Rasuwa, Nepal
The recent disaster in Nepal has severely affected communities in the Rasuwa region, leaving many families urgently in need of food, blankets, cooking supplies, emergency solar power, and other basic necessities.
Standing with the people of Rasuwa
Paititi Institute is organizing this emergency fundraising campaign in direct coordination with Lama Karma Tsultrim Sangpo and the Manang Society Monastery.
Lama Karma served as a close assistant to the late Lama Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche, whose guidance and vision helped inspire the establishment of Paititi Institute in 2010. Through these long-standing relationships within our Kagyu lineage, we are able to direct assistance toward the elders, women, children, and families facing the greatest hardship in the affected areas.
Working through trusted local relationships will allow assistance to reach the people who need it with fewer administrative delays. We will share updates about the relief effort, the supplies purchased, and their distribution as the work progresses.

The region we walk through
Rasuwa is the district of the Langtang Himal — the same valleys our Himalayan Pilgrimage travels through with the Karuna Project in October 2026. The families this appeal supports are the communities that host that journey.
