Empower the Indigenous Yahua Nation: Preserve Culture, Protect the Amazon

For over two decades, Paititi Institute and its founders have stood in solidarity with indigenous nations, championing their rights, cultures, and ecological wisdom. Our past campaigns have fostered meaningful change, and today, we invite you to join us in our most urgent initiative yet.

The Amazonian Yahua tribe, relocated by the government in the 1970s to a small reservation near the city of Iquitos, faces immense challenges in preserving their ancestral culture and sustaining their livelihood. The limited land and resources have forced many to rely on tourism for survival, putting their rich traditions at risk of fading away.

Our current campaign aims to develop a cultural heritage center and school for the Yahua people—a sanctuary where native children can reconnect with their original creation myths and cosmo-vision, and where adults can cultivate and craft medicinal plants, preserving invaluable knowledge passed down through generations.

The center will also provide informational booklets for visitors, fostering greater awareness, respect, and understanding of the Yahua tribe’s profound heritage.

At the heart of this effort is our book, Beyond Ayahuasca – Unlocking the Evolutionary Science of Indigenous Amazonian Wisdom to Access Your Highest Potential.

This autobiographical adventure novel is a living rite of passage that immerses readers in the inner technology of the Yahua’s enlightened ancestral civilization. A portion of the book’s proceeds will directly support the building and operation of the cultural heritage center.
