Support Our Initiatives
Every gift goes to work in a specific place: an ancestral school in the Amazon, another taking shape in the Andes, the reserve that holds the land between them, and the circles that bring elders and children together. Choose where yours goes.
Four initiatives, one living vision
Two campaigns are open now on Zeffy, and their forms are just below. The other two initiatives are preparing campaigns of their own; until they open, the best way to support them is to read about them, share them, and come back.
Yahua Ancestral School
The first maloca stands complete. Your gift builds the campus around it: dieta huts, compostable bathrooms, solar-powered water, a culturally rooted curriculum, and wisdom keepers brought from deeper Yahua communities.

Q’ero Ancestral School
The same model is extending to the Q’ero Nation in the high Andes: a dedicated space for elder-to-youth transmission, the Quechua language and ceremonial knowledge, and land-based education rooted in Andean ecology.

Paititi Biocultural Reserve
1,516 hectares where the high Andes give way to cloud forest, held as a buffer to the Manu National Park Reserve, with the title affirmed in 2026. A campaign to maintain the reserve is being prepared.

Uniting the Elders and Children of the World
Workshops that bring elders and children into the same circle, from the Amazon and the Andes to Mexico and the United States. Its own campaign follows the reserve’s.

In the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, the first Yahua Ancestral School maloca now stands complete, brought into being entirely through the proceeds from Beyond Ayahuasca. Your gift builds the campus around it: five dieta huts where youth can experience rites of passage guided by their elders, compostable bathrooms, solar-powered water systems, a curriculum that carries ancestral stories and the teachings of the living forest, and wisdom keepers brought from deeper Yahua communities.

An Ancestral School for the Q’ero Nation
What began in the Amazon with the Yahua Ancestral School is now extending to the Andes. Your gift helps develop an ancestral school for the Q’ero Nation: a dedicated physical space for elder-to-youth transmission, preservation of the Quechua language and ceremonial knowledge, land-based education rooted in Andean ecology, intergenerational workshops for children and families, and infrastructure that supports community stability beyond tourism-based income. The school is dedicated to the memory of Q’ero elder Pampamesayoq Juan Gabriel Apaza Lunasco.

How your gift travels
Zeffy charges no platform fees, so your offering moves directly into the initiative you choose. Paititi Institute is registered in Peru and fiscally sponsored in the United States by Empowerment WORKS, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so donations through Zeffy are tax-deductible in the United States.
There are other ways to walk with us. 100% of Roman Hanis’ author royalties from Beyond Ayahuasca support Paititi Institute’s Indigenous education and cultural preservation initiatives, and for twenty years, proceeds from our retreats have funded every nonprofit initiative at Paititi.
For questions about a specific initiative, or about ways to give beyond Zeffy, write to us and we will answer personally.
