WHEN THE PROPHECIES AWAKEN
The Great Mother, Human Innocence & Our Critical Moment
A Public Dialogue and Experiential Evening with Roman Hanis and Geordie Numata
We are living through a period of profound instability, when humanity’s extraordinary creative power is developing faster than the wisdom required to guide it. Ancient prophecies from many parts of the world speak of such a time, not simply as a prediction of catastrophe, but as a threshold at which human beings must remember their relationship with the living Earth, awaken from collective patterns of separation, and consciously participate in the future we are creating.
Join Roman Hanis and Geordie Numata for a two-hour public dialogue exploring enlightenment, the Great Mother, ancestral prophecy, and the healing of humanity’s original innocence. Drawing from distinct yet resonant paths, they will examine what awakening means when it is brought out of abstraction and into the realities of our bodies, relationships, communities, and historical moment.
The Great Mother will be approached not only as an archetype or ancient divinity, but as the living intelligence through which all existence is conceived, nourished, transformed, and returned to its source. From this perspective, healing innocence does not mean returning to naïveté. It means releasing the conditioning that separates us from our innate capacity to perceive life directly, participate in its intelligence, and respond without being governed by fear, fragmentation, or inherited trauma.
Roman and Geordie will draw parallels between Amazonian and Andean ancestral traditions, Tibetan Buddhism, Daoist practice, Reiki, astrology, and their own decades of healing work. Together, they will explore how different traditions understand enlightenment and energetic transformation, where their languages genuinely converge, and why their differences must also be honored.
The dialogue will explore:
- What ancient prophecies may reveal about humanity’s present turning point
- The Great Mother as archetype, living Earth, and primordial matrix of consciousness
- Enlightenment as embodied participation rather than spiritual escape
- The difference between original innocence and psychological naïveté
- How personal healing relates to collective transformation
- The role of crisis, initiation, and remembrance in evolutionary change
- Parallels between Reiki, Daoist cultivation, Amazonian and Andean healing, and Tibetan approaches to awakening
- How ancestral wisdom can inform contemporary life without being removed from its cultural roots
This will not be only an intellectual conversation. The evening will include direct practices through which participants can experience some of the principles being discussed.
Around the midpoint, Roman will guide an Amazonian-based Primordial Breathwork practice, engaging breath, rhythm, sound, and awareness as a communal field of remembrance.
Geordie will share a breathing practice rooted in the Daoist tradition, opening another experiential doorway into the cultivation and circulation of life energy.
The evening will conclude with approximately twenty minutes of Reiki channeling led by Geordie, allowing the dialogue and practices to settle into the body through stillness, receptivity, and energetic integration.
