Freeing our Bodies from Emotional Burden
Facilitated by Roman Hanis and Stacy Berman
December 10, 2022
Join us as Roman Hanis, cofounder of the Paititi Institute, and our special guest Stacy Berman, explore where the body and consciousness connect, how to release unconscious burdens, and how the body can guide us towards wholeness.
Before we understand words we understand the language of emotions. It is our mother tongue. The body is the keeper of emotions, the vehicle through which we express and experience them. They are interwoven and inseparable, each informing the other in real and measurable ways.
When we experience emotions that are intense and or chronic, during development times in our lives, these experiences get wired into the nervous system, the tissue and ultimately the posture of the body. We call this character structure, the fleshy roots of our emotional experience.
The structure of the body becomes a book, a way to decipher the unconscious communication of our inner experience.
Body Mapping is a method of learning to read body language, to gain insights from the subconscious mind and understand hidden drivers to the way we feel, think and behave.
This is a free talk. We welcome donations.
