Roman’s lecture at the Horizons Conference

At the Paititi Institute we are always looking for more ways where we can bring deeper awareness of the importance and practical use of our ancient indigenous traditions in our modern life. We are pleased to announce that Roman Hanis will be a speaker at the sixth annual “Horizions: Perspectives of Psychedelics conference” to be held at Judson Memorial Church on the NYU campus in New York City. The conference will run from October 12-14 and Roman’s talk will be on Saturday, October 13th at 1:30pm.

Horizons focuses on contemporary research into the clinical applications of psychedelics, providing an invaluable forum for experts to share ideas, insights, and to rethink the role of psychedelics in science, medicine, art, culture, and spirituality.

Speakers include medical researchers from NYU, UCLA, Hebrew University and other prestigious institutions, world-renown artists, spiritual scholars, bestselling authors, and other key players.

We are please that Roman will have the opportunity to share the important role that the cultural context of the indigenous ceremony structure offers in this work in his talk titled “Amazonian Grass Roots Research on Entheogen-based healing of Physical Pathologies.”
